Why busbars are better than cables

Higher current carrying capacity
Cables have a smaller surface area than busbars and therefore give off less heat. This makes it possible to reduce the cross-section compared to cables by using an optimal geometry.

Busbar installation is easier than cable systems because of standard lengths and fewer fixing points. There is no waste either. This makes for easier calculation with less risk.
Short-circuit strength
Particularly with busbar systems, parallel installation with bars always results in the same cable lengths.
